A 10-BORE SPORTING GUN BY HENRY NOCK CONVERTED FROM FLINTLOCK TO PERCUSSION, ORIGINALLY CIRCA 1800, no visible serial number,
with 34in. twist barrel with engraved with a decorated banner containing an inscription (faint), the breech with two inlaid gold bands and an inset gold poincon marked 'H. NOCK / LONDON', bevelled border line and foliate engraved lock with stepped tail and inset gold poincon to centre inscribed 'H. NOCK', scroll foliate engraved hammer, conversion to percussion by the drum and nipple system, the drum engraved to match the lock, iron mounted walnut half-stock, with chequered wrist, the trigger-guard with foliate engraved bow and a leafed pineapple finial, the fore-end with two flat keys for securing the barrel, complete with ebonised loading rod
